October News
We are updating some of the local photographers website to edge forward the sites and make them more pretty for end users.
What we do not want to do is to create a different website site for each and every local city website's.
We will be cloning certain website's sections for example wedding sites which are held on the local sites into certain sites to randomise the sites so that hopefully very few of the sites will be the same.
400 new jobs created
National photographer's city photography website's creates around 400 new jobs across the UK for photographers and graphic designers as well as marketing executives. CEO of National Photographer Rory Witham said, " it is important that during this time when many people are out of work that we create jobs, Our photographers work with our marketing team and designers to help other businesses. while we are creating new jobs, it will help with other businesses in the local areas.".
All of the 98 city photography website's are all supported by a small number of local photographers which need to have a design team at a local level. The National Design and marketing company Grafixphoto is also looking for regional staff to help with maintenance of the website and also the local businesses with marketing and designing work for businesses using the skilled city photographers.
Its not about creating jobs, its about creating a supply chain that's needed for businesses as well as the general public, I have always ran businesses and opened business during the last recession, I have never had a business loan or worked using credit from other companies, so the recession mean little to me or any of my companies, said Rory.
We had had interest come from photographers across the country to advertise on the city photography website's.
Advertising on City photography sites is restricted to members of City Photography and National Photographer. The only exception is non photography advertisers who offer relevant services and goods.
We are also preparing website for local photographers who are now members. Check the city photography website index page for the updates or click the links on the top of the page for a list of the local website's.

Due to the problems of high speed internet access, we have place links on certain website's for a pop up gallery that will allow some users to view images if they think that their internet speed is fast enough.
Bristol has a refreshed website but the flash wedding section of the site remains.
City Photography gets a wordpress blog.
Having a visible blog for city photography and our photographers is an important way to keep everyone up to date with what is happening as well as forwarding work back to the sites. Please feel free to make a comment.
November News
The start of the month lead to some problems with a prolonged server outage for city photography that was quickly fixed. There has been minor tinkering with the website's that we have live and we will be launching some new city photography website's during this month.New Albums
We have had our first new image book delivered this week and I can say that they are very nice, the new sizes allow for larger images with a 22 inch width print which makes them a great alternative to the more costly spanish albums for the sizes. New photos and video of the new albums can be seen on the grafixphoto album design service page shortly.
The albums are great for preview albums and portfolios which of course are offered to our photographers.
Worcester Gets is new website and Hereford gets its re write to its website and is made more self contained. We have kept the hereford website the way it is due to the bandwidth and internet access users often have in those areas.
Well November did go quick. We have been doing some updates to some of the city website's as well as updates for the over all advertising of some of the website areas which is being launched this month in the local press.
National photographers boudoir website was updated as some of the City Photography sites link to that website for information and package details.
We are currently working on that website as there were some bugs which we have found.

A large amount of clients contacted us for family photo shoots for christmas presents, however booking a photo shoot when the cut off date is only a few days away can lead to delays or that we cannot carryout the shoots.
Christmas shut down.
We are now shutting down for the festive break, many of our top suppliers shut down so it is a choice of go slow or shut down.. we decided we all need a good break with all the work we have done this year on all the website's.
January News
Well it has been a busy break after Christmas and the New Year; we are taking steps to make ready the new photography websites for our two new photographer members.
The website should be online within the next few days and we hope that the public enjoys them.
We have finished our research and development stage of City Photography and are now moving towards gaining a market share and pushing some of the directories out of the way to make way for a better more affordable way for photographers to promote themselves and their businesses.
Once we have photographers ready to join and fill more of the sites we will be ranked higher on the search engines results.. Though for some of the sites recently finished the R&D stages they are holding a strong top five rank on all top search engines, which is great news for our members.
Also we have been toying with the idea of a new type of website solution for photographers which will run in parallel with the city photography high optimised websites. We are currently trailing the service on our other websites to see how they perform.
The new sites will be independent and also self managed by the photographers allowing them total control over the service provision and we will over view the sites content and also the direction of the SEO and service provisions.
These will be slightly more costly that the current managed websites, and will work out pricing at a later date.
